Please note: “Untitled” (Natural History) consists of thirteen framed photographs. While the thirteenth part [the last image included above] was exhibited in the first exhibition of this work, thereafter it was not intended for public display.

For editions 1 and 2, all thirteen parts must remain together. The exhibitor may choose to install any number of the twelve parts intended for public display in any order. The caption for the work remains constant, including the number of parts, regardless of how many parts are publicly displayed. For edition 3 of “Untitled” (Natural History), Gonzalez-Torres chose to separate each of the thirteen parts to be sold individually.
