This New York-based artist produced provocative, minimal works utilizing a variety of media including works on paper, sculpture, photography and billboards. The first major museum show of his work; jointly organized by MOCA; the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; and The Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago. It consisted of three distinct exhibitions, each specifically conceived for the respective venues by the artist, joined by a single publication.
