Submitting Images to the Public Interaction Archive
The public plays an integral role in the work of Felix Gonzalez-Torres in many ways. Candid documentation and representation of Gonzalez-Torres’s works by the public are extraordinarily additive to the life of the work and contribute to the discourse surrounding the work.
The Foundation strives to obtain photographic records that represent the work at numerous points in the duration of each installation, reflect decision-making around the work, place the work within its context, document the way that the works have been interacted with, and record how part of the work may move beyond an exhibition context.
The Foundation accepts image and video submissions to be considered for inclusion in the Public Interaction Archive. For further details, and to submit material to the archive, please complete an Image Submission Form.
